Christmas Nativity Wood Peg Doll Set
This Nativity is by far my favorite. I made a smaller Nativity last year, but it took so long to make the dolls. I decided to make the dolls this year less time consuming so I simplified the dolls (not adding fabric or polymer clay) and when I was at Michaels craft store a few months ago, I saw these darling wood barns (which was easier and cheaper than making my barns like last year). I found a darling manger for baby Jesus and added some hay to the barn. I know that in the Nativity story, there are no chickens, but I thought one would look cute in the cubby part of the barn (near the roof). The Angel would not sit on the barn because the roof is slanted, but I added a little platform for her and now she stands nicely on top.
